Q. How do I know if my order has been received?
A. Once we have receipt of you order, you will be sent an email as order confirmation detailing the items that are to be delivered.
Q. Can I add to an existing order?
A. You can add to your order only until you confirm your payment details and the order. For additional items please place a new order.
Q. When should I expect to receive my order?
A. As long as a product is in stock, most items should be delivered within 3-5 working days. Larger products may take a little longer. We do not deliver on weekends and any orders placed on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays will not be picked until the next working day.
Q. What do I do if I want to cancel my order?
A. You can cancel your order up to 28 days after delivery, although this does not apply to any product that has been used. You should email us at sales@gardenhome.co.uk with Cancel Order in the subject line quoting your order number. We will advise you on the returns process, but all returns must be in their original packaging – we strongly advise that you use registered post to ensure a safe return. Returns will be at your cost unless we have made an error or you have received damaged goods.
Q. What do I do if I receive faulty goods?
A. If in the event you discover the items delivered are faulty, you must notify us as soon as possible, but within 3 working days of the delivery date. We may ask you to email us photographs of the damaged item(s) or we may inspect them. If we agree that they are damaged, and the damage has not been caused by your misuse or neglect, we will repair (if possible), replace or refund the item(s) at no cost to you.
Q. How and when do I get refunded?
A. We will refund the full purchase price paid back to the card originally used to make the purchase. Once we have refunded your money it should take approximately 3-5 working days to appear on your statement.

A. We have three delivery charges covering mainland UK destinations, which are as follows:
£4.99 for standard delivery
£12.99 for items that are large or bulky
£24.99 for our biggest heaviest products
You will only be charged one delivery charge per order, but that charge will reflect either the overall weight of your order or the biggest bulkiest item ordered.

Q. If the picture of a pot/planter that I wish to purchase shows more than one product, are they all included for the price stated?
A. No. All prices are per individual item. So for example if the picture showed 5 planters of various sizes – the price is only for one item at the size described in the product details.
Q. Why should I use planters?
A. Planters are less susceptible to pest damage and can easily be moved around your garden making a unique display, brightening up bare areas or even taken with you when you move home. Also you do not necessarily need a garden, try displaying on balconies, window sills or around your front door.
Q. Should I treat my furniture?
A. We would strongly recommend treating your furniture once delivered:
Terrazzo Tables – these are very heavy and need to be placed with care and consideration. We suggest they are impregnated to maintain the colour and protect the surface from stains and marks, this makes cleaning easier but should only be applied to a clean and dry surface (Impregnator is available to purchase).
Fibreterrazzo Tables – are similar to the original terrazzo range but using modern techniques are a lighter weight product and come pre-treated. Small repairs can be done using a Grandelight repair kit which is also available.
Rocca Slate Tables – this great range is a low maintenance product, but we would recommend applying impregnator to avoid stains and marks.
Please note: Always ensure the furniture is clean and dry before you start. Apply evenly by brush/cloth or soft roller and allow 1 hour before applying a 2nd coat. We would suggest doing this at least once a year, please read instructions on the treatment before use.
Rattan Furniture – this hand woven rattan needs regular cleaning with water which will take care of any dirt built up. A more thorough scrub with mild detergent and water should be done at regular intervals, applying a coat of shellac or lacquer will seal the rattan until the next clean.
Zinc planters can be cleaned by using linseed oil, baby oil or water. Always ensure good potting compost is used for optimal drainage.
Q. Can the planters be used indoors?
A. Yes, some of the planters are indoor planters with no drainage hole. In the outdoor planters section there are trays in square, round and rectangle which can be used for indoors.
Q. Should I store my furniture during winter?
A. No, like most garden furniture it can be left outdoors all year round. Although you may choose to cover your furniture during the harsher elements of the winter months, if you do so we recommend the furniture is dry before hand and suggest placing something on the middle of your table to prevent water pooling building up.
Q. How should I care for furniture cushions?
A. We would suggest regular cleaning of the cushions to prevent any built up of dirt on the fabric and to make sure the cushions look their best. They should not be left out overnight or in rain.
Q. Can I get replacement wicks for my Oil Burners?
A. Yes, replacement wicks for the Oil Burners (along with lamp oil and gel) can be purchased.
Q. How do I fit the replacement wick?
A. Remove the wick holder by pushing down and turning the wick holder anti-clockwise to reveal the opening (also where you would fill the container with oil, but only up to 60% of capacity. Wipe clean any spilt oil before use). If the wick is frayed use clear tape to tighten and re-install into the holder, positioning it so 10mm is above the holder. Put the holder back in place and turn clockwise to secure. Allow 10-15 minutes for the wick to saturate the oil before lighting. If the lamp burns with excessive flame or smoke, extinguish the lamp, allow to cool and adjust the wick length. Please note do not over fill the oil container and never use petrol, kerosene or other flammable fuels except for clear lamp oil or citronella oil. Keep children and pets away from the naked flame.
Q. I can't find an item I have seen on your website recently?
A. When an item is temporarily out of stock, it is automatically removed from our shop. Discontinued items will also be removed. If you would like more information about a product no longer shown on our website, please email info@gardenhome.co.uk
